They should have named this movie "Return of the Jedi, the fighting prince!"
HAN: "You love him, don't you?" LEIA (thinking about her brother): *shrugs* "Yes." Leia, you know full well what Han meant by that. 😭
After Luke left - Leia was processing the fact that her real Dad was Vader.

One of the Prettiest Kisses in Cinema History. 🫶🫂❤️🔥
The last of the three best films ever made.
“I’m altering the deal. Pray I don’t alter it any further…. !!!!!!!
Are we gonna ignore the fact that Luke kissed Leia even though they both know they’re siblings? I’ve watched Star Wars since I was little and I’m only realizing it 🤦🏽♂️. I also feel like anakin could’ve explained to Luke that he has a sister named leia. Idk maybe thinking too much.
STAR WARS IN EARTH 🌎‼️
I dont remember ever feeling this somber in a movie as a child, except perhaps the movie The Champ. This movie really whooped my butt when I was a boy
When your luck is so good that your only rival to the woman you love happens to be her brother and only in your head……. That is some God tier luck
Just heartbreaking, torn from how much destruction Vader has done… but turning the leaf at the very end. Just an old man in an imposing suit, seeing his son and saving him from a horrible fate…. Just…. Poetry…..
I'd love to know if that was Harrison Ford's first time realizing that Luke and Leia were siblings the whole time
If u always knew THEN WHY DID U KISS HIM???!!!!
This is such a beautiful scene, I'm luke and vader is my real dad. I forgive him
Growing up watching this gave me the impression that Leia spent time with their mum at an early age.
When she talks about her mother, she could be talking about a pretend mother (knowing she’s adopted)
This me

Guess Darth Vader Meant What He said No Disintegration
Vader gets Padme flashbacks seeing a Love confession
Put Into Carbon Freeze
Something about this scene i havent noticed until recently is the music in the background. When seeing Vaders face for the first time, we see his scars and how vulnerable he really is. John Williams plays the imperial march but instead of a full orchestra, its just one violin. This, to me, just emphasizes how tender and vulnerable this moment is.
These scenes from Ep 4-6 have SO much more feeling than the last 3.
Its so unfair that Leia was raised as a princess in a palace, while Luke was dumped on a remote corrupt and dangerous desert planet to work the harsh dry moisture fields. Luke really got the crap end of the stick.
It’s nice how mature and understanding Han was before he learned the full story. It shows character development because I really doubt Han from episode 4 would react like that
So if ETs species are in the Star Wars universe, and humans (living on earth) exist in the same universe as ET, then Earth humans exist in the Star Wars universe. Its also means that if ET recognises Yoda as a result from his species coming from the Star Wars universe, it means the humans of this Earth (namely George Lucas) managed to come up with a galaxy and various aliens etc that coincidentally already does exist (as evidenced by ET recognising as person dressed as Yoda). I know I'm thinking way too much into this, I just thought it was funny to point it out 😂
Deute. 18:10-14,
This is when Luke tells Leia that she's his sister.
If Leia always knew then, why kiss Luke?
No. We kiss . Noo we kissed before. I can still feel your lips on mine. Before you go, luckily i found a washing machine lets go help me fix it
1:41 - Vader's like- "Can someone please quiet that damn dog!".
Man they were really ahead of their time with that 3D print quality
I think what makes this scene especially sad is that the only quality time Luke gets to spend with his dad, is in the last few seconds of his life. It’s such a perfect scene: the way it’s shot, the acting, the music. You truly get a sense of how proud Anakin is of his son & how much he loves him, without saying those words. Luke finally gets his father back, only to lose him moments later. This scene affected me deeply as a child, but only now, I better understand why.
Deute. 18:10-14, such wonderful music from John Williams
You have to wonder if Leia has imagined knowing Padme in a wishful, fantastic way. Luke seems more grounded in reality. Their mother died shortly after childbirth. If Leia remembers seeing her as a minutes old infant, when Padme was shown her children briefly, then that is an extraordinary gift of memory. Maybe the force was working between mother and daughter in some mystical, connective way.
George Lucas didn't even bother to read his own fucking script.
"Through the Force, things you will see. Other places. The future, the past... old friends long gone". Seems to me he remembered perfecty what he had established in TESB.
I like when Vader slapped down Boba Fett's gun he was in charge
Luke to Leia: "Natalie Portman is our mother and Adam Driver is your future son, who turns evil btw."
Deute. 18:10-14,
I too have memories of my own birth
this is a perfect ending to Star Wars. Anakin fulfils his destiny to bring balance to the force as the chosen one and does what he wanted to do- *save who he loved.* Shame on Disney for ruining this perfect ending and just bringing back Palpatine which defeats the point of any of these movies.
This scene is awesome...like friends drifting apart then reuniting ...such range.
I wanna go party with those little guys, they know how to get down!
Think that Luke almost fuck his sister.
She really didn't have to say "I always knew." She could have just said, "Oh damn, I shouldn't have kissed you like that bro."
I always interpreted "ive always known" as ohhhh yeah ok that explains the weird connection I always felt with you, in a way i feel like subconsciously ive always known we were connected not "yeah i knew you were my brother thats why i kissed you :D"
Oh yea. Strong force. Magnetic attraction. Whatever you call it Jing Han. I am very happy with my 4$ thanks very much for the offer though
You know I wonder if Ben ever thought of telling Luke that they were going to save his sister?
